Who We Are

We're a coalition of student organizers working to end legacy and donor preference admissions in Washington, DC. Formed after the Supreme Court decision ending affirmative action, we are dedicated to increasing socioeconomic and racial diversity at DC universities through fairer admissions practices for working-class, first-generation, minority, and otherwise underrepresented students.

DC's most prestigious universities lag far behind their peer universities in racial and socioeconomic diversity, in large part due to admissions practices that favor applicants who are more likely to be white and wealthy.
